Litigation Solicitor
We are seeking a Litigation Solicitor (5 years PQE +) to join our established and supportive firm. We pride ourselves on our approachable culture and are looking for someone who shares our values of collaboration, professionalism, and client care.
About the Role
You will handle a broad range of civil and commercial litigation matters, including but not limited to:
- Contractual disputes
- Debt recovery and enforcement proceedings
- Property and boundary disputes
- Professional negligence claims
- Company and partnership disputes
- Contested Probate claims
- Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR), including mediation and negotiation
You will be responsible for managing your own caseload with appropriate supervision, maintaining high standards of client service, and ensuring compliance with all professional and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide clear, pragmatic, and commercially focused advice to clients.
- Manage litigation matters from instruction to conclusion, including drafting pleadings, witness statements, and correspondence.
- Represent clients effectively in court and settlement negotiations.
- Maintain accurate time recording and billing in accordance with firm procedures.
- Ensure confidentiality and security of client and firm information at all times.
- Regularly update clients on the progress of their cases and manage expectations.
- Develop and maintain good working relationships with colleagues, clients, and external organisations.
- Support and mentor support staff to ensure high standards of efficiency and teamwork.
- Meet agreed chargeable hours and billing targets.
- Actively contribute to business development and the growth of the department.
- Keep up to date with developments in litigation practice and relevant legal changes.

We are seeking a Residential Property Solicitor (2–3 years PQE) to join our established and friendly firm. We pride ourselves on our non-corporate, supportive, and collaborative culture, and are looking for someone who shares these values.
About the Role
You will handle a broad range of residential conveyancing matters, including:
- Freehold and leasehold sales and purchases for both registered and unregistered titles
- Transfer of Equity transactions
- Remortgages
- A wider variety of residential property transactions
About You
We are looking for someone who can work effectively under pressure within a busy conveyancing department, both independently and as part of a small, supportive team.
You should be able to demonstrate:
- A confident, friendly, and professional approach
- Excellent communication and client care skills, with the ability to engage directly with clients, colleagues, and external contacts
