Background

Celia is an experienced family solicitor with over 9 years experience in family law. She undertakes all areas of family law including divorce, financial and property matters and cases involving children. Celia joined Blythe Liggins Family Team in July 2007. Previously she has worked in both Daventry and Coventry and has a broad knowledge of local firms and the courts.

Celia is a trained Collaborative Lawyer and undertakes collaborative cases alongside her more traditional family law work. Celia is passionate about helping clients to resolve their issues without the necessity of court proceedings and conducts all her cases in a sympathetic and conciliatory manner.

Celia is a member of Resolution (the Family Lawyers Association) and Secretary to their local Coventry & Warwickshire Group.

Interests

Celia is a keen cyclist and cycles to work regularly from her home in Coventry. In November 2007 she completed her first MacMillan Cycle Challenge cycling 700 km across North Vietnam, with a further trip to Central America planned for late 2009. Celia is an avid Coventry City FC season ticket holder and attends all home games. She is happily married with three daughters.
