Eilidh is an Assistant Solicitor in the Family Department who is able to provide advice in all matters of family law including:
• Divorce Proceedings
• Nullity Proceedings
• Matrimonial Proceedings
• Private Law Children Matters
• Civil Partnerships
• Pre-Nuptial and Post-Nuptial agreements
• Separation agreements
• Cohabitation agreements
Eilidh has assisted clients to resolve their disputes through out of Court negotiations and through the Court system adopting an empathic and pragmatic approach to her work.
Eilidh takes great care in her work and has a good relationship with her clients. Throughout all of her cases, Eilidh’s priority is to ensure that the outcome reached is fair and sensible while also meeting the expectations of her clients.
After completing a Spanish degree, Eilidh had a successful career for a number of years in the property market in Birmingham before studying Law.
Following completion of the GDL and LPC, Eilidh joined Blythe Liggins as a Paralegal in the residential conveyancing department in 2013 and commenced her training contract at Blythe Liggins in 2014. Eilidh qualified as a Solicitor into the Family Department in 2016.
Throughout her training Eilidh assisted in a wide variety of cases including:
*Applications for financial relief under Schedule 1 Children Act 1989;
*Successfully opposing an application for children to be removed from the jurisdiction;
*Enforcement of maintenance and contact orders;
*Section 37 injunctions within financial proceedings.
Away from the office, Eilidh enjoys keeping fit running in the Park Run most weekends and taking part in a number of organised runs including Race for Life, The Great Birmingham 10k and the Two Castles Run, which is sponsored by Blythe Liggins.
Eilidh also enjoys travelling within the UK and abroad, baking, reading and spending time with friends and family.
