A new gym that offers exclusive one-on-one personal training to help individuals achieve their health, fat loss and fitness goals for 2012 has opened in Leamington.
Gina Dover and Rob Coster, both from Leamington, have set up Life Personal Training in Windsor Place to offer something different from other gyms, with an innovative training approach.
“We wanted to differentiate ourselves from other health clubs and personal trainers,” said Gina, who met Rob when he was her personal trainer and they decided to set up the business together.
“We specialise in fat loss and conditioning but also assess our clients on other important aspects of their heath, such as postural correction, mobility, flexibility, stress reduction and nutrition,” said Gina. “All clients undertake a LifeCheck health assessment which is a great tool to help clients understand their current level of health while providing specific recommendations to achieve their goals.”
Rob, who has worked in the fitness industry for 15 years, said: “There are plenty of gyms and personal trainers out there, however, we achieve success for our clients based on a proven training system. As a results-based studio we provide the most effective exercises to help clients achieve their goals. These can be challenging but the rewards are great body shape, improved fitness levels and a balanced approach to healthy eating.”
The business owners were advised on their venture by Nick Watts, a commercial solicitor here at Blythe Liggins, who also arranged the lease. “Nick was terrific,” said Gina. “He really guided us through every step of the way.”
Mr Watts, who has many sporting clients, including the Amateur Swimming Association (ASA), said: “It’s encouraging that in this climate there are new businesses opening up and I think Gina and Rob have really done well. They’re offering a great product which is suitable for everyone from older people wanting to get fit and more mobile to youngsters who want to be ‘beach beautiful’ and everybody in between – including those with sports injuries. I wish them well for the future.”
